Second Speaker for TEDxYSE Announced!
I’m thrilled to announce our second speaker for TEDxYSE and second winner of the Staples Youth Social Entrepreneurship Competition, Mohammed Barry from The Gambia. Mohammed is empowering marginalized and socially disadvantaged children and young people.
After losing his father and contracting AIDS at the age of 7, Mohammed became driven to break the silence on HIV/AIDS. At age 16, he started a school for HIV-positive children and today he is founder of Aid for Smiles, a coalition to help socially disadvantaged children to become agents of social change and reform in their communities.
Mohammed has a truly inspirational story you won’t want to miss!
